Indigenous Inclusion & Representation

Acknowledgement of Country

KnG Group acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.

We recognise the Yugambeh people as the traditional custodians of the Gold Coast Region, where the KnG Group head office is located. In Naarm (Melbourne), we acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians. Additionally, we recognise the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the Adelaide Plains.

Our approach to Indigenous inclusion and representation includes:

Employment & Career Development: We aim to increase Indigenous representation within our workforce and provide pathways for career advancement. This includes targeted recruitment, professional development programs, and support networks for Indigenous employees.

Cultural Awareness & Education: We provide cultural awareness training for all staff, ensuring a respectful and informed workplace. Our education initiatives aim to deepen understanding of Indigenous histories, cultures, and contemporary issues.

Community Engagement & Partnerships: We actively engage with Indigenous communities and organisations to build meaningful, long-term partnerships. These collaborations are designed to support community-led initiatives and empower Indigenous voices.

Supplier Diversity: We promote procurement from Indigenous-owned businesses, supporting economic development and promoting diversity within our supply chain.

Our commitment to Indigenous inclusion and representation is integral to our values and the way we do business. We believe that by working together, we can contribute to a more inclusive and equitable future for all Australians.
